Prof. Fixler appointed Israel representative to international pulse oximetry standards working groups

Prof. Dror Fixler was officially appointed by the Standards Institution of Israel (SII) to serve as Israel’s representative to ISO/TC 121/SC 3/JWG 10 and IEC/TC 62/SC 62D/JWG 5, the joint international working groups focused on pulse oximetry standards.

This activity connects the lab’s research in pulse oximetry, skin-tone-related optical bias, and self-calibrated optical sensing with international medical-device standardization.
